DevOps Engineer

Are you a backend developer by heart with an interest in operations?  

We are looking for 2 experienced DevOps engineers to join our SRE team (Site Reliability Engineering team) at our office in Søborg, Denmark.

At Appvestor we are a multinational team of tech and marketing experts in Copenhagen, doing what we are great at and love doing: helping app publishers grow their apps and become successful in the app industry. Our origins are in the early days of app marketing before the existence of Android and even the smartphone.

We use our experience and passion for this fast-paced and competitive industry to help app publishers grow their userbase and make their apps commercially successful.

That is the company’s overall goal – and to keep everything running in our big and heavy machine-room we are depending on our highly skilled SRE team.

The position can be formed more around the right person, but it will contain both development and IT operations tasks. As a developer you will be our super experts in mySQL, postgresSQL, nodeJS, python, Kafka and Rest APIs
The team are also working with everything from Java, C#, Python with shell scripting to Linux system administration. Together with the team you will furthermore ensure that our big AWS setup is running, that our platforms are stable and juggling many other cool and tech heavy systems.

Furthermore, you will be focusing on cost, security and automation.

Are you the next DevOps Ninja in our team?
You are an experienced senior developer, with a passion for running operations as well.

AWS is not new to you, and you know the importance of cost focus. You are a super ninja when it comes to mySQL, postgresSQL, nodeJS, python, Kafka and Rest APIs

Preferred you also know:

  • Java, C#, Python
  • Shell scripting, like Bash or PowerShell.
  • Linux system administration
  • CloudFormation, Terraform, CDK or Pulumi.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines like AWS CodeBuild/CodeDeploy/CodePipeline, Bitbucket Pipelines, GitLab CI/CD or GitHub Actions
  • Knowledge of Configuration Management Tools
